Hi, I’m Jenelle Duplantier, a watercolor artist based in New Orleans.

I grew up in Southern California and moved frequently before settling in New Orleans, where I now live in a home I renovated that has been in my family for over 120 years. It’s the first place that has truly felt like home.

My work is inspired by the South Louisiana landscapes, New Orleans, and coastal scenes.

Before painting, I spent over 13 years working as a real estate agent. I came to watercolor unexpectedly, after picking it up on a whim, and it quickly became something more meaningful.

I live with my husband and our four dogs, and I’m very close to my younger brother, who is eighteen years younger than me.
